Forms Wizard

The Forms Wizard is an application to allow a company to design their own custom forms to insert into the Errigal workflow process. This means that any user can design a complicated form that can be forwarded from person to person representing a sophisticated workflow. The forms tool has been designed to integrate with external databases also. It is a very powerful tool and has been used to design the following types of workflows, in each case, taking only a few minutes:

- A customized problem ticket system was designed in less than an hour

- A site dispatcher ticket system, this was an example of linking to external tables to get technician names and site names

- A feature request workflow system

- A bug tracking system

- A inventory ordering workflow

- A plans delivery system (the forms allow attachments of any type)

This tool is intended to reduce the internal IT development costs of a company that wishes to develop any process that requires intergroup collaboration or management approval.

The forms are designed using a form architecture tool that allows fields to be added to a form graphically. As forms as designed, background processes create all the necessary databases and tables to support the forms. Once the form is created, the sophisticated workflow mechanisms are added automatically. The workflow is 100% customizable. The workflows can add optional email or text notifications where there a a new work order in a user's “in-box”.
